The May Board meeting began with a presentation from members of the Office of Retirement and Disability Policy (ORDP) about representative payees. Board members questioned ORDP staff about SSA’s procedures for monitoring representative payees and detecting misuse cases. ORDP staff also briefly discussed the predictive model used to detect cases of misuse, and how to improve the model going forward.The Board also met with Patricia Potrzebowski, Executive Director of the National Association of Public Health Statistics and Information Systems (NAPHSIS).
